Menard Asia in Bangladesh has completed the ground improvement work at the LPG Terminal Extension area for 3x4000m³ Mounded Tanks facility using Prefabricated Vertical Drains (PVD).
Project Overview
This is the first PVD job for Menard in Bangladesh. Menard proves here that apart from the installation, Menard team is able to provide technical support whenever needed as assisted in design of the PVD and provided additional measures at critical field situation which greatly enhanced the success of the project.
Ground Condition
Though the platform condition was perfect at the beginning, it went in a worse condition due to sudden cyclonic storm. As it was time bound project, there was no scope to slow down the production.
Menard Solution
The experienced Project team of Menard provided design for drainage system to the Main Contractor and assisted to implement it for improving the platform condition shortly.
